Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American producer stage and screen actress who is best well-known for her films on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis is the American producer and actress who has performed in theatre as well as television and film productions well, is present on both sides of the screen. Aunjanue L. Ellis began her acting in the theatre. Later, she appeared in television shows along with independent and mainstream films. She was known for appearing in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The two series garnered praise from critics, and she also received a number of awards. Her career began acting in 1995, when she appeared as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. Her stage credits include The Broadway production of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry, she's best known for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. On television her regular role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
